Showing off Sand and the Sun. I made the sun round, and I redid Sand pixel by pixel, then added Noise using Paint.net. BTW, my images will always be on the left/above the other image.

Showing off Gravel, Sand, Grass, and Dirt. I remade gravel black and white with pink and purple dots, then added noise with some contrast. I just made grass longer down the sides of the dirt blocks and made them longer. I remade dirt abit redder and addded noise with very little contrast.

Showing off Tree Logs, Leaves still need to be edited. Made trees look lke real bark and the inside have three rings instead of two.

Showing off Stone. I made it darker (basically black).

Showing off Regular Logs, Birch Logs, Wooden Planks, And Glass. I recoloredd Birch Logs because they're basically perfect already. I made wooden planks match my lightened up Logs. I made glass look like regular window that are in alot of homes. BTW, this is my house :-)

Showing off Cobblestone. I made cobblestone black like stone and gave it a brick teexture, then I made it abit rough. I gave cobblestone white lines because it often goes with Glass or Smoothstone blocks, which are outlined in white. BTW, that is the city wall that is next to my house(I live right outside it and often go in there for nether acces lol)

Showing off Glowstone and Netherrack. I made Glowstone have a image of the sun on it, so I now call it SunStone lol. I made NetherRack look more like Stone, so I now call it NetherStone. BTW, this is inside the city walls.

Showing off Netherrack and Soulsand. I made SoulSand look litterally like sand, instead of a gray looking block with creeper faces on it. I'm basicaly trying to take the real world to the nether. It doesn't sound like a good idea, because the Nether is supposed to be different, but I really like how it's turning out. I even brought the sun into the nether with Glowstone. BTW, this was taken inside of the nether.

Updated: Added pictures to the original post in the default texture pack. Please give your HONEST opinion, I don't mind having someone tell me that they don't like my textures, because then I know to changeit or make it better. If you want to, please give CONSTRUCTIVE criticism. Thank you.

If you have Minecraft and want to try out this Texture Pack, I will gladly send you a demo version of this texture pack so then you can try it out for yourself.

Do you have minecraft?

Easiest way for me to explain is to tell you step-by-step or make a youtube video.

First off, you need 7-zip, second off, I use Windows, so I might do it a differet way then you do.

Getting to the folder/file:

Hit the start menu and click computer. Go to Local Disc/C then go to Users and then click your user profile. Click the top and type \AppData at the end of the bar. Go to Roaming and then .minecraft. Go into bin and then left click the jar. fil called Minecraft. Scroll over 7-zip, then open archive. Scroll way down 'til you see an image titled Terrain.png.

Editing the images:

Drag the Terrain.png image from the 7-zip archive onto your desktop. Right click the image that is now on your desktop and either click edit with (Whatever image editing software it says) or scroll over Open With and pick an image editing software. Edit the images and then save it and exit out of your image editing software.

Making a Texture Pack:

Go back to the window that should still be in bin(IF you exitted the window, then go back to it). If you go back you should see a folder called texturepacks. Enter into the folder, it will probably be empty. Create a new folder with whatever name you want(Done by hitting Organize, then New Folder and typing in the name you want). Right click the new folder and click Add to NameOfFolder.zip. Delete the original folder and keep the zipped folder. Enter the zipped folder and delte the original folder inside that folder. Now go back to your desktop and drag the image you made into this new folder. You have now made a basic texture pack.

Expanding Texture Pack:

Now what you just did is nothing, there's still icons, items, inventories, furnaces, guis, menus, mobs, boats, minecarts, etc. How you reach those is by going into your Archive in the minecraft folder(you know, the one you went into to get the terrain image). If you scroll down there will be two more images (as in images that are not terrain). One image will be called particles.png, this is what will appear when you break a block, I honestly have not explored this. The second image is called pack.png, this is what the image will look like when you select your texture pack in the minecraft game (so basically, it's one of those finishing touches for the ned of your texture pack, as in, not required). Now, if you scroll back to the top of the archive, there should be a ton of folders, most of them will have more images in them that you can edit. You edit them exactly the same was as you edit the terrain (drag the image to desktop and edit it). The only difference is that after editing when you go to put it in your texture pack, you don't put it straight in your texture pack, you've got to create a new (unzipped) folder inside your texture pack folder an you've got to give the new folder the same name of the folder you got the image out of. Once you do that, you can now drag the image into that folder.

Any questions? If so then just reply.

Also these pictures are out-dated, I remade some of my texture pack again. If you have minecraft and want a demo of the texture pack, just ask me and I'll send you it. I'll also give instructions of how to use the texture pack when/if I send it to you.
