Some metal bands have people raised up in complete hellholes. They become different and pretty much do the songs out of anger.
Although there's always at least one or two songs they do that show they still have a little bit of their heart left. That'd explain why I get so defensive over metal bands. Especially Slipknot and Disturbed.

Looking over it again, this song almost perfectly describes Mecha and Heart.

I wonder what it would be like if Mecha had told Heart how he felt about her... I wonder if he would still be alive if he had told her... If he had someone to stop the darkness from taking him over.
