M.R.A (Mobian Rebel Army) Empty M.R.A (Mobian Rebel Army)

The Mobian Rebel Army have a large number of units, although still not as much as Doom Storm. Whilst Doom Storm may exceed the M.R.A in almost all areas, the M.R.A do actually have quite a few surprises for their enemies such as The White Chailists and especially Doom Storm. They are rather organised for a guerilla faction. The M.R.A have a mixture of men and women, but most are men.


TROOPS
-----------
All assault troops come armed with their own armour and weaponry, ranging from assault rifles to shotguns, some of it being stolen. While there may be a high level of inconsistency, pitting an equal amount of M.R.A units against Doom Storm units with both at their best potential, the M.R.A would actually gain the victory. That is, if they're in familiar territory.

Attack hounds
-----------------
Domestic wolf-like beings called "Lukanine", standing at the same height as a short human if it were on two legs. Trained to attack enemies (for them, anyone that isn't an M.R.A soldier), but they can quickly identify who are allies and who are foes if accompanied by a trainer.

Assault
---------
Assault troops are equipped with assault rifles, shotguns, pistols, anything like that. Assault troops are split into two types:
- Light: These wield regular weapons and are more acrobatic, some even highly flexible. They have light armour to help them keep their flexibility and mobility.
- Heavy: These have the big weapons like miniguns, flamethrowers and rocket launchers. Heavy units are equipped with better armour since they do not need to manoeuvre around as much as the Light units.

Sniper
-------
Snipers also have their own weaponry, with few even having crossbows for snipers to remain unnoticed. These are the most precise Mobians in the M.R.A, so don't expect them to miss.

Medic
-------
Medics are armed with anything they have, but they all have specific medical equipment stolen from hospitals and the government that all medics have an equal amount of.

Specialist
-----------
Specialists are the brains of the front line. They are armed with whatever they can get their hands on, some armed with EMPs. Quite a few specialists have mini-laptops which they use to hack, one specialist (Perco) in particular can actually hack into Doom Storm's network.

Wall
------
Wall units are equipped with a riot shield and any one handed weapon they have. They can sustain plenty of gunfire, the more heavily armoured wall units being able to sustain an explosive or two.

Bomber
---------
Bomber units are suicide units that rush right into enemy lines and detonate themselves. These are rarely used, but are dangerously effective at critically damaging and taking out some units that would almost seem unable to be broken through.



VEHICLES/TRANSPORT
------------------------------

Bullet
-------
Bullets are motorbikes driven by the M.R.A that range from all sorts of models, most being dirt bikes. These carry 1-2 people into battle, although Bullets are mainly used for assault where they are rather effective or for scouting. They're also used to carry any vital object from A to B due to how nimble and quick they can be.

Rover (Light APC)
----------------------
Rovers are the nicknames given to any 4x4 belonging to the M.R.A. Rovers can carry any number from 1-6 units into battle. Rovers aren't armed themselves, so passengers usually need to provide firing support if they ever fall under fire.

Shell (Medium APC)
------------------------
Shells are 6-wheel vehicles that can hold any number from 1-12 units into battle. These are armed with a single .50 calibur turret and can create a smoke screen.

Planet (Heavy APC)
------------------------
Planets are trucks that have specifically made trailers to hold any number from 1-30 units in, although trucks have many different uses in the M.R.A. The trailers on Planets are all fortified and allow the troops inside to provide covering fire, making Planets almost like mobile forts.

Gorilla
--------
Whilst Gorillas are rather rare, these are large monster trucks with spiked tyres that also have special plating to prevent bullets piercing the tyres and also help it keep traction. You don't want to be in the way of one of these, and between the large wheels are rows of barbed wire. Ouch.

Songbird
----------
Songbirds are large hovercraft used to carry hundreds of troops, supplies or vehicles into battle. They can travel across land and sea, making them the most effective form of transport. However, they are very loud and mildly slow. Armed with three AA turrets, two heavy MGs on the front and surface-to-air missiles.

Slicer
------
Slicers are the name given to mobile machines (roughly the size of a small truck) on caterpillar wheels, only equipped with a cutter, a minespotter and a radar on the back. It is used to cut through walls in order to get to an objective, provide a shortcut or for an ambush. These are made by both Perco and Couthart, equipped with medium armour. There is also a different model of the Slicer.

Loader
--------
The loader is the name given to a Slicer that has lighter armour yet a faster motor. It can go five times the speed (25mph) and is used to transport supplies to friendly troops. This model is also equipped with an automated anti-infantry turret which is only used in the most critical of situations.

Doom Storm
----------------
M.R.A's way of dealing with Doom Storm's large numbers and heavy firepower (and also borrowing their name). Despite the fact these are very rare, they make up for it by being so dangerous. They have the frame of a large truck, but their chassis is very large and the wheels are of similar size to a house and are spiked (add that up and this is the size of a small fort). They are thickly armoured, from the tail lights all the way to the bottom of the chassis, holding six large gatling guns and an EMP emitter.



TANKS
---------

Dragon (Anti-infantry tank)
---------------------------------
Light armour. Dragons are the most used tanks, mainly because they are quick, accurate and can support four soldiers atop of the vehicle. Armed with a 27mm rapid-fire turret, but there is not a lot of range on the turret. Also armed with Anti-tank missiles.

Golem (Medium tank)
--------------------------
Medium armour. Golems are the main tanks used in the Mobian Army, although they are stolen and painted with the M.R.A emblem on. Armed with a 110mm turret and a 6.25mm turret, Golems are the backbone of the M.R.A.

Demius (Heavy tank)
-----------------------------
Heavy armour. Demius tanks are named after the God of honour, Demius. These are stolen from the Mobian Army too, armed with a 130mm turret and a 6.25mm turret, Demius tanks are quite frightening to see in battle even without the paintings some of them have, such as roaring tigers or intimidating faces.

Thunder (Anti-Air tank)
-----------------------------
Light/medium armour. Thunder tanks are used to eliminate enemy aircraft. Each tank is armed with four highly powerful and fast missiles. Perco re-installed his own targeting system so that the missiles do not always go after decoys, but it doesn't always work. Because the M.R.A do not have a large air force compared to Doom Storm's, they have quite a lot of Thunder tanks.



AIRCRAFT
--------------

Ghost (Stealth plane)
-------------------------
Ghost planes are ultra-fast spy planes that used to serve in the Mobian army. They are faster than Doom Storm spy planes and are also armed with chain guns, but have very thin and light armour. They are mainly used for reconnaissance and air-to-ground support when enemy aircraft or anti-air defences are not present, but would not last very long in a dogfight.

Soarer (Light air-superiority fighter)
------------------------------------------
Soarers are the only aircraft that can successfully battle against enemy fighters. They are fast, equipped with a single chaingun and two air-to-air missile launchers. These aircraft are the best jets stolen from the Mobian army.

Stinger (Light gunship)
---------------------------
Stingers can transport up to 6 units into battle, and are armed with two manned chain guns on either side plus anti-missile defences. They are used for air-to-ground support mainly and for inserting troops into battle

Carpenter (Medium bomber)
---------------------------------
Carpenters drop several payloads of bombs. These are usually shot down because they are so big and slow, but if AA defences are down enemy troops can say goodbye to any chances of getting out alive if one of these flies over their position.



NAVY
--------

Rocket
----------
Rockets serve as another means of light transport, although only being able to carry 1-2 units. These are sports powerboats that vary in models and are fitted with torpedo launchers by the M.R.A. They are hard to be taken out because they are so nimble and quick.

Sonar (Submarine)
---------------------
Medium armour. Armed with six torpedo launchers, along with having torpedo defences. Also has a sonar, which is what the unit is mainly used for.

Shark (Destroyer)
---------------------
Heavy armour. Armed with a Photon cannon and a heavy cannon with three anti-air turrets.

Elephant (Battleship)
-------------------------
V. Heavy armour. Armed with two 320mm guns, four anti-aircraft turrets, missile defences and highly damaging torpedoes, a group of Elephants can actually cause a lot of damage to other navies. They serve as the powerhouses of the rebels. Recently, they have been given the ability to walk on land via 6 large legs, but are slow on land.

Behemoth (Heavy Battleship)
------------------------------------
Ultra Heavy armour. Holds three tri-cannons, six SAM sites, torpedo launchers, torpedo defences and a tesla cannon. Also has refueling stations for aircraft.

Stormer (Artillery ship)
----------------------------
Heavy armour. Hosts two long range rail cannons and ten long-distance and highly damaging missile launchers, with torpedo and missile defences. Has a lot of range, making it a very dangerous unit.

Thundercloud(Aircraft Carrier)
------------------------------------
Very heavy armour. Holds four SAM sites and six AA turrets, along with plenty of torpedo and missile defences. Holds up to 40 aircraft.




DEFENCES/ARTILLERY
------------------------------

AA gun (Anti-Air defence)
-------------------------------
Whilst AA guns are effective at shooting down enemy aircraft, they also serve as point defences.

SAM site (Surface to Air Missile site)
-------------------------------------------
These sites are loaded with faster and more explosive missiles than the Thunder tanks. Instead of shooting one missile, they shoot four at a target instead, making them highly efficient anti-air defences.

Rain god (Medium artillery)
--------------------------------
Rain gods are artillery units that can fire up to 10 miles in distance and are driven around on the back of trucks. These are accompanied by three troops, one to pin-point the co-ordinates and two to insert shells into the artillery.

Dome (Stationary shield generator)
-----------------------------------------
Domes are very rare, with the shields covering half a mile in radius. They can take a considerable amount of enemy fire, but require exactly three hours before they can fully work again. These are powered by stolen parts from the Mobian Army and a couple of parts that are even stolen from Doom Storm themselves.



ROBOTS
-----------

Mouse (Light mech)
-------
Mice stand at about 13 feet tall and are armed with four chain guns. These aren't seen much on the battlefield, but they are highly effective.

Ram (Medium mech)
------
Rams stand at 19 feet tall and are armed with two rocket launchers. Rams are known mainly for their spiked teeth that are painted onto the torsos, making them even more intimidating.

Black Widow (Heavy mech)
---------------------------------
After capturing a Gigalith, the M.R.A decided to use it's technology in different ways. Instead, they went for a similar 6-legged base design, but mounted a very large and greatly powerful laser cannon which has substantial results. Also armed with two SAM launchers.



UNIQUE UNITS
--------------------

Perco
-------
Perco The Squirrel is a specialist. He is the best hacker there is on the whole of the planet and is able to hack into Doom Storm's network. Without him, the M.R.A would be at a large technological disadvantage.

Tiger
-------
Tiger is the name given to a biker from the special biker squad. Tigers all have similar sports bikes that are capable of high speeds. There are 6 tigers in total:
- Donny (Light Assault unit) (Male)
- Koln (Heavy Assault unit) (Male)
- Diamond (Sniper) (Male)
- Couthart (Medic) (Female)
- Perco (Specialist) (Male)
- Ricko (Wall) (Male)
Tigers are the best of their class. These are the heroes of the M.R.A that set an example to all of the other M.R.A troops.

Pacifier
---------
After stealing blueprints from both Doom Storm and the White Chailists, the scientists of the M.R.A decided to create a prototype that combined the two together. This is the result - a 9 foot tall robot armed with a large cannon that has two firing options - Rapid fire or charge fire. Despite Rapid fire boasting a lot of firepower, charge fire mode can allow the Pacifier to destroy anything up to a Doom Storm Heavy tank. It also possesses the power to hover and even has self-repairing drones.

Skullbatross
-------------
The Skullbatross is a very large flying fortress (Twice the size of the one in Avatar) with very heavy armour. It is equipped with a semi-automatic slow firing H.E cannon (to take out enemy heavy units), two different miniguns (one focuses on accuracy for taking out infantry, one focuses on power just to reign down death), a tri-barreled missile launcher (mainly serve as anti-air defences), anti-missile defences and even a strategic nuclear bomb to clear out entire enemy bases. The Skullbatross is slow however, so it will rarely be seen in battle. It'll usually arrive half-way through battles if luck is on their side.

Sonic cannon
---------------
The Sonic Cannon is an experimental tank stolen from the White Chailists that has proven to be deadly, it's technology even surpassing some of Doom Storm's own. It's sonic cannon can obliterate many tanks and is armed with light yet very effective armour. The Sonic Cannon has four caterpillar tyres that extend out in an X shape like a four-legged spider to give it maximum manoeuvrability.

Ogre (Experimental assault bot)
-------------------------------------
Only five of these are in the M.R.A. They are stolen and hacked Ogre-80s, armed with the exact same weaponry. They are painted with plenty of tribal markings to make them look entirely different from the regular Ogre-80s.

Saviour
--------
Saviour is the name given to the unique Ogre unit of theirs. It has an added nuclear bomb launcher, more reinforced armour and carries the very large M.R.A flag on it's back. This unit is the most powerful unit in the M.R.A.

Rolling Rampager
---------------------
The Rolling Rampager is the name given to the stolen Mammoth tank. Instead of having one large turret and one small turret, the Rolling Rampager has a highly powerful 300mm gun on the top that fires a very large explosive shell toward it's target using coilgun technology, able to shoot all the way through most tanks. It is also equipped with a few extra tons of armour and even two AA turrets. However, it is very slow and mainly used as mobile artillery.
- More information on the fired shell: The shell has two layers: The first layer detonates on impact and creates an explosion, opening up, damaging or softening the point of impact and allowing the inner shell to pass through at a further accelerated rate. This can lead to highly effective results.



NO LONGER ACTIVE
---------------------------

Dead man
------------
This isn't the name for a deceased soldier, it's the name given to a former M.R.A soldier injected with several healing agents in order to make him more durable. The results were better than that. He became nearly immortal, and the only way to kill him was to remove the life support built into his back. During the battle of Reifeign, he mysteriously vanished without a trace. Nobody knows whether he turned sides or whether he was killed, but some believe he is still alive.

Added Slicer and Loader under vehicles, Dragon and Thunder under tanks, Soarer under aircraft and SAM site under defences/artillery.

Added some new units, since DS were getting way more than enough. Added "Doom Storm" under vehicles/transport, 5 new navy units, Black Widow under robots and Pacifier under unique units. Also added a "No longer active" section which has Dead Man.
