Brego was taking a look around in a different section of the city, trying to keep a low profile.
"..." There was still no sign of any Chaos Emerald in any shops he had been to yet.

[On top of a building near the fountain]

A black hedgehog waas on the roof of the building, surveying the area, he looked down at Heart, then looked around some more, "Where are you...?" He mumbled.

Brego and Miyo both noticed each other. For a moment Miyo thought that Brego had the Chaos Emerald, but she immediately saw he didn't. Her ears drooped a bit as she walked over to him.
"I take it you don't have it..." Brego mumbled to Miyo once she got close enough, looking down the plaza as he did.
"No... I looked everywhere." She replied. Brego gave a short growl of disbelief, turning round and walking off back to the truck.
"Come on... let's take a look elsewhere." He snarled. Miyo followed, running the short distance to catch up with him so she could walk alongside.

I smiled. "Hey Heart." I looked at the new person. "Hi."

"Hi, I'm Mattias" Mattias said to Dex.

The black hedgehog looked around some more then noticed a person in a black hood(/robe type thing) walking towards the fountain, "There you are..." He mumbled. The black hedgehog jumped off the roof and put his feet against the side of the building, he then started jumping from one building to the next until he reached the ground, right next to the fountain. Heart reognised the hedgehog almost immediately, "Hey!" she called out to him, but he just ignored her and ran towards the man in the hood.

Brego and Miyo both heard Heart's "Hey!" in the distance thanks to their ultrasonic hearing. Miyo picked up her pace just a little, although Brego just kept his pace. Miyo looked over her shoulder at Brego, confused as to why he wasn't in a rush.
"There's no need to rush..." Brego said to her. Miyo gave him a concerned look.
"There might be." She replied.

Heart looked towards where the hedgehog was running to and gasped.

The black hedgehog kept running towards the man in the hood, then as he was just about to throw a punch the the man in the hood, the man disappeared in a puff of smoke, then reappeared ontop of a roof. The black hedgehog growled as he ran towards the building. The hedgehog jumped onto the side of the building and started jumping to another nearby building and back like earlier to get up the building.

The man in the hood smirked, although the black hedgehog couldn't see it, "You aren't getting away from me this time..." The hedgehog snarled, the man in the hood just stood there, still smirking, but the black hedgehog still couldn't see his expression.

I span around looking up. "Is that the man from before Heart?" Dax!

Dax appeared next to me taking out his handgun. He nodded.

I teleported out of sight a small white orb in my hand. "Time to play." I grinned.

The small task force arrived at the towers. Four heavy troops ran to the door and one kicked it open. "CLEAR" As soon as this was said a roar was heard from within. "What the hell?!" The troops formed a line and aimed. Something black moved quickly zipping from shadow to shadow. "OPEN FIRE!" They opened fire but the thing had stopped and the bullets were stopping in midair. The thing laughed and and sent out a massive wave of air blasting the troops back. The task force rushed forwards firing special rounds. The figure ran backwards taking out two handgund and fired. A small orb watched the battle transmitting the footage to X. He growled nodding at his troop with the ten embroided onto his uniform. Ten teleported to the scene behind the two giant mechs. The APC's door opened and men rushed forwards into the tower.

The lights were flickering then went out. "Turning on optics now" The helmets switched to thermals with red lazer sites. "Task force one to the left two ahead three to the right Go now" 60 men split up into groups of 20 and went off. Ten entered and went with group one. The mechs spilt up and followed the other two groups. The orb went inside.

(Did Dex teleport onto the roof?)

The black hedgehog charged towards the man in the hood, ignoring Dex. The man in the hood charged towards the black hedgehog, the hedgehog threw a punch at the man's face, but the man leaned to the side and delivered a blow to the hedgehog's side, then his face, and then his gut, "Ugh!" The hedgehog graned as he stumbled back. The black hedgehog started charging up a dark energy beam as the man in the hood charged at the hedgehog, the hedgehog then shot it at the man as he got closer. The man in the hood frontflipped over the energy beam and slammed his foot into the black hedgehog's face, throwing him to the edge of the tall building. The man in hte hood smirked, his hands sparking with bolts of dark energy.

(Yep he's behind you O.O ehhe)

I appeared behind the hooded figure and grinned throwing the white orb at his back.

Dax teleported up next to the black hedgehog making sure he didn't fall off the building.

Brego and Miyo both saw the fight.
"Shouldn't we go help?!" Miyo asked, worried. Brego crossed his arms, rotating his head around as his neck clicked.
"Just let 'em do their business..." He mumbled, walking on as a bit of large debris landed where he was originally stood due to the fight that was going on. Miyo walked on behind Brego, keeping her eyes on the fight with a worried look.

The man in the hood did a backflip over the white orb, landing behind Dex. The black hedgehog would've fallen off if Dax hadn't stopped him but he just ignored Dax anyways. The hedgehog ran towards Dex, then did a frontflip over him just seconds before hitting him, he then threw a mid-air kick at the man in the hood, the man caught the hedgehog's leg, sending bolts of dark energy (and searing pain) through his body, he then threw the hedgehog towards the edge of the building, then shot a extremely powerful dark energy beam which he had been saving up towards the hedgehog. The energy beam slammed into the black hedgehog at an extremely fast speed, sending him into (literally into) the building that he had first been standing on (next to the fountain) in the bottom floor.

Heart gasped and ran into the building after the black hedgehog, there was stuff everywhere in the air, making it hard to see, but Hesrt ket going to where she thought the hedgehog was. Heart found the black hedgehog right underneath a wall with a big dent in it, the hedgehog looked like he was dead, he was smoking, and he had burn marks on his arms and face.

Brego just continued on, ignoring what was going on.
"Bloody new guys..." He mumbled. Miyo was thinking of what to do, biting her lips out of anxiety.

Heart checked the pulse of the black hedgehog, he had a pulse, but it was a small one. Heart picked him up, brought him outside, and sat him down on one of the benches. "ugh..." He groaned unconciously.

The man in the hood grinned, "That'll teach him to attack me" he mumbled, then teleported out of sight.

Miyo sprinted past Brego and over to Heart and the hedgehog, hoping she can help.
"What happened to him?" Miyo asked, getting down on one knee and looking at the hedgehog.

"He got shot by a energy beam!" Heart replied, "He has a pulse, but it's very small". Heart then noticed a rope around his stomach that connected to a sword-pack.

Miyo tried loosening up the rope around his stomach to allow him to breathe better. She didn't know whether it was actually stopping him from breathing better or not, but it was something she felt she had to do.
"We need to get him in the truck. I know a place where he'll be taken care of." Miyo said, walking round to the back of the bench and lifting up the hedgehog with her hands under his arms.
"You take the legs." She said.

Heart nodded as she grabbed the hedgehog's legs and lifted him up.

Miyo started carrying him over in the direction where the truck was. She noticed Brego in the distance, but knew he wouldn't help. That was mainly because he disappeared into an alleyway, but appeared to be in a rush. This puzzled her.

Heart kept glancing back to make sure she didn't trip as they walked over to the truck.

Once the two were around the back of the truck, Miyo gave a quick flap of her wings as she lightly raised up into the back.
"I'll take him from here." Miyo said.

"Ok" Heart said as she slowly let go of his legs.

Miyo dragged him to the other end of the truck, setting him down on the bench at the end next to the crates. Dan and Vlad looked at him.
"... Who is zhis man?" Vlad asked.
"Ask Heart." Miyo said to him, walking out. Dan blushed a bit as Miyo walked past.

"I... don't really know... But he did save my life twice." Heart said to Vlad.

"Tvice? Vow." Vlad mumbled. Miyo got into the front of the truck, waiting for Brego.
