The Marauder took more damage, but it howled in anger.

"Guh... Why won't this dumb thing die?!" Moe mumbled, he ran towards the Maurauder and threw his fist at it as hard and quickly as he could.

(How strong are his punches? Superhuman or just normal?)

I suddenly teleported behind it and smiled. I turned myself into steel.

(Wow, sorry about not mentioning that his pounches are half-superhuman half-human.)

(Okay.)

Moe -
There was a dent on the head. It was about to strike Moe, with it's hand, until:
"NO!" An eerie voice howled. The Marauder froze, the lights cracking as a black substance leaked out. It fell back, seizuring up.

Dex -
The marauder started to slowly turn round again.

I turn my fist into a large hammer and swung at the things head. "TAKE THIS!"

The head suffered quite some damage as a couple of it's optics were smashed out, dangling by a wire. It growled, trying to turn itself round.

I smiled. "Perfect" I swung again.

Moe grinned, "It's about time that thing died" He said, then he looked around again for where the Core Room might be.

Some more metal came off of it's head as it stumbled back, crashing through the wall.

The core room was directly ahead.

"Time to leave.." I ran off.

Moe looked around just to make sure no one was watching him. He looked around for five seconds, then he ran at the metal door leading to the Core Room at full speed. Moe shoulder rammed into the door as hard as he could.

(He also has half super-speed and half human-speed.)

There was a large glowing red sphere in the middle of the room, connected to two generators. The room was very well lit up, but there were so many shelves full of different bits of ammunition, test samples, files, you name it. In fact, it was almost impossible to see where the other side of the room was.

"Brego... You here?" Moe called out as he looked around the room and walked towards the red sphere.

There wasn't any reply. The only sound that could be heard was the low humming of the generators and the sphere, but even that was quiet.

I finally reached back with my figures and rushed off.

"This is definitely the right place... I think..." Moe mumbled. He started to examine the sphere.

There was the same laugh from earlier... this time, louder. And closer.
"You won't be finding your friends in here..." The voice said as the walls all started to ooze with a black oily substance. One by one, each light started to smash and shut off.

I head into a large room looking about me. "Hmm set some up in here"

"Uh oh... This doesn't look good" Moe said as he looked around.

There was only one light left. However, an entire row of shelves were broken through completely, and under the light stood a very strange looking Mobian. It was Thing.
"I'm savouring this moment..." She laughed manically.

The room Dex was in was actually the entrance to the cargo bay. Nobody was in there apart from a few dead Xoliaths and Doom Storm soldiers. Even a light tank was in there that had been blown up.

Moe's eyes got huge and he took two steps back, "What are you?!" He asked, not really expecting a good answer.

(I've seen the picture, that's why Moe reactted like that)

She grinned, bearing her fangs.
"A living nightmare..." She laughed before what appeared to be a black tendril struck up and took out the light. From there, she vanished. All that was lighting up the room was the sphere in the centre of the room as it spun round, but there wasn't enough light to see all the way.

Moe felt a shiver go down his spine as the last light went out. Moe took two more steps back towards the glowing sphere so he could see atleast a little. Moe got in a defensive stance, he could feel the adrenaline rushing through his body, making him want to run and attack "the living nightmare", but the fear made him want to stay in place.
