"You know there's the door here that'll be easy for you to get to." Amari mentioned to Brego, pointing at one of the parts of the power plant which stuck out.
"Apart from the sentry bot that guards it almost shot me to pieces the last time I tried getting in." Despite being used to automated guards, this robot he was thinking about was a tough one for just keeping out citizens.
"Then we'll have to take it out somehow. Without alerting the guards." Amari said.

"On my command..." Tati's earpiece ordered, being able to see exactly what she was seeing.

I looked at the buidling. "I can turn invisble.. would that work or does it have heat sensors or infra red..?"

"We think." Brego said. He never saw the inside of the power plant, so trying to use the shadows to get inside could have put him anywhere in there.

I nodded. "Right... lets see then"

"What's the top of the building like? Is there anyway to atleast see the inside of the building through the roof?" Moe asked.

Floyd just looked around, studying the group. He was sort of surprised that they hadn't acknowledged him.

I glanced at the group. "By the way. This is Floyd. He's a friend of mine"

Floyd waved at the group as he looked at them, smiling slightly. Two people in particular caught his eye though, Moe and Brego.

Moe looked at Floyd and slightly nodded, then looked back at Brego waiting for an answer.

"Hullo!" Vlad and Dan greeted Floyd.
"I'ma call you Syd." Dan said, for his own (peculiar) reasons.

Brego, alongside Amari, just raised their hand for a brief second as their greetings.
"... There aren't cameras on top of the roof, are there?" Brego asked Amari. She stood up straight, thinking.
"... Yes. ... Wait... no. They only have four snipers that monitor the roofs, so we can take them down. And use them for our distraction." She insisted. Now she knew exactly what Brego's plan was, yet her feeling of insecurity just didn't go away. She tried ignoring it. Brego stood up, turning round to the group as he placed his hands on the table to support himself.
"Four of you are coming with me, the rest can stay here with Amari and monitor what's going on. We're not using any superpowers, otherwise we'll blow our cover." Brego announced. "So if you're prepared to follow exact orders and won't go killing any guards, step right up. If not, you can still be of use."

I cracked my knuckles smiling."What needs to be done?"

Floyd looked at Dan, "Uh... Ok... I guess... Whatever that means" He said, mumbling the last part. Floyd then looked at Brego, debating in his mind whether or not he should go.

Moe grinned, it was an easy choice for him, "I'm in." He said, tired of not seeing any action for a while. Floyd looked at Moe, 'Well... I need to keep an eye on him, so I guess I'm in' He thought, "I'll come to" Floyd said to Brego.

Mattias and Ice quietly entered Roxas' room. Marcia was sitting on the chair next to Roxas' bed and looking at him. Mattias patted Ice on the back, and quietly left the room as Ice approached Roxas. As soon as Mattias left the room, he went straight to Heart's room.

"Right. Now we're ready, let--"
"Wait a moment..." Amari awkwardly interrupted. She took a step from the map on the table, crossing her arms.
"The vehicle I rented for this isn't coming until tomorrow morning." Before she finished her sentence, Brego groaned in disappointment. He looked at her, first off wondering one thing:
"Okay... well which of their vehicles did you get?" He asked her.
"They let us have a truck they robbed off of someone. Chances of getting tagged in a robbed vehicle is low, Doom Storm couldn't care much about it." She continued. Brego, now, was slightly more calm. Despite being unable to deal with the gem until tomorrow, he could at least work on his plan and make sure it was full-proof.
"Fine. We'll do this tomorrow night. Ev-" The sound of shattering glass pierced the silence of the room, shards flying everywhere and a couple almost impaling Vlad. Dan jumped behind the sofa for cover with Brego flipping the table on one side for his own cover. He saw Amari, even with a bullet wound to her cheek, lift up several of the shards with her telekinetic powers. Unfortunately, there was no sign of anyone on the rooftops, in any windows or anywhere. The shards quickly dropped and shattered again on the floor. Amari stumbled back, trying to keep as much blood in her mouth as possible. A couple of her teeth had been shot out but, amazingly, the shot didn't go through the other cheek or into her throat.

"What the hell?!" I ran to the window and looked out. "We need to go" I placed my hand on the wall making some metel appear over the broken window. I then turned to Amari. "But we need to help you first"

Floyd looked at Amari for a second, shocked, then he ran over to her, "Are you ok?!" He asked.

Moe looked at Amari, then at the now metal covered window, "You aren't getting away with it that easily" He said as if the person who shot Amari could hear him, then he ran forwards and smashed through the metal, jumping out of the building. Moe felt his adrenaline pumping as he heard the wind rushing past his ears as he fell. He landed on the ground with a roll, absorbing the shock and barely hurting himself. He then looked up as he pulled out a pistol. Moe started free-running up the fire escape of the building right infront of him while still looking for the person who shot Amari.

Floyd watched Moe jump out of the window, then ran over to the window and watched him. Moe was already half-way up the fire escape in less than ten seconds.

There wasn't a single silhouette in sight.

Amari looked far too shaken to give any response right now. Her eyes were dilated, her teeth were chattering and she was shaking from the pain and shock she had just experienced.
"She doesn't respond to any kind of foreign cures of whatever. All we can do is keep her wrapped up in bed and let her heal herself."
"Oh, so we're just going to let her die and bleed to death without bothering to help her?" Dan disputed.
"Her kind of bat species doesn't respond when you give her a painkiller or an injection. She'll heal up quicker than you think." Brego said, going over to pick her up. The bullet wound was large. Bigger than a Mobian's finger.
"Vill she survive?" Vlad asked, looking at Amari's bloodied face as she was carried into the bedroom.
"She won't die, that's for sure. It's just a question of how well she'll function once she's healed. There was one time she got a shot to the head. Bullet wasn't lodged in her brain but she couldn't remember a thing for about a month." He explained, mostly shouting because he was in the other room setting her down. Dan walked in, wondering what could be done to help. Or at least speed up the recovery.

"So my healing won't work then..? " I sighed.

(I think that's the second (maybe third) character I've ever seen that won't respond to Dex's healing lol)

Moe slowed to a stop and looked around, he couldn't see anyone anywhere. "Shoot!" He growled as he banged his fist onto the railing of the fire escape behind him. He then put his pistol back in it's hiding spot, but contnued walking up the fire escape until he was on the last floor.

Floyd walked back over to the group, hoping Amari would be ok, and also hoping the shooter wouldn't come back.

Amari's shivering stopped. She was still breathing, but she wasn't blinking either. Dan thought she was dead, considering how there was no movement.
"Wha... w-what's going on?" He was rather worried.
"Relax... her nervous system's shut down. It's so that the healing can work properly..." Brego reassured Dan of any doubts.

Tati was hidden down a dark alleyway.
"Status report."
"I... I think she's dead. Send in somebody to make sure."
"They're already on their way." Her com went static again.

Moe climbed to the top of the roof and then looked around for the shooter, "Where'd he go?!" Moe asked himself.

Floyd walked to the doorway but just peered in, not wanting to be a bother, but wanting to see what was going on.

"Hmm we to secure the place.." I closed my eyes sitting down and folding my legs as if I was meditating.

There was a knock on the door. Vlad looked at the doorway, wondering who would be coming at this time.
"... B--" Brego very quickly put his hand over Vlad's mouth, looking him in the eyes. Slowly, he let him go.
"Everyone hide... I'll turn the lights off." He said. Dan hid behind the sofa again, along with Vlad.

I stood up and became invisble standing next to the door gun drawn.

Floyd hid behind a desk, bow drawn and ready to strike.

"Grrrrrr" Moe growled, annoyed that he had lost the shooter.

(Talk about stubborn - I tried talking Alvin Earthworm into speeding up his progress on SMBZ rather than delaying it each time someone mentions it just so it pisses everyone off. Tells me to F off, not to mention he frequently uploads furry artwork, then the rest of his furry art fanboys just attack. Freaking ridiculous.)

"As soon as you hear a gunshot, unleash hell on them." Brego whispered.The door slowly opened just as the lights switched off. A large black anaconda (with legs and arms) was stood in the middle with a custom riot shotgun aimed into the room. Behind him was a polar bear with a baseball bat and a bull with two SMGs. The ox lead in, looking around in the darkness with what light they had. The anaconda's tongue poked out for a brief second.
"They're in there... it'sss just locating them..." He hissed, his tail coiling round a vase and crushing it like it was paper. The polar bear walked in, immediately starting to bang on the door that Amari was sleeping in. Dan wanted to act... but he thought he could trust Brego.
"Come on..." He whispered to himself.

(I'm going to add that the anaconda is quite hench and looks more humanoid than mobian. the only real snake-like part of him is the head and the tail which is pretty darn long.)

I slowly rose my gun aiming it at the anaconda my other hand rose up as well. If the bear wanted to get in I'd open the door for him. I grinned.
