I let go retracting the spikes and backflipped landing afew feet away. I readied myself.

THe hooded figure hit the ground with a thudd. The dark energy inside him made him feel like he was going to explode if he didn't release it somehow.

I smiled and back off throwing a metal bomb down by the figure.

For a brief second for Amari, everything slowed down... the draft had slowed down to a halt, the fight had slowed down to a halt, Brego was stiffer than a statue, there wasn't anything moving other than herself. She could still feel the pain, weakened now, driving into her head, but it almost seemed like it was talking to her through a voice... a familiar voice.
"All of this for a simple planet..." The voice started to murmur. It was Rorto's voice.
"A planet whose inhabitants have made themselves wrongfully believe..." Amari could only listen now, standing up very slowly.
"Yet you know who will fall in the future. You know who is going to die..." She could only look at the still figures, and at her brother, mortified that she knew there wasn't anything she could do. There was a long silence, only giving her the chance to collect her sanity. It didn't balance out against her insanity, but all she could hear now was crying and screaming.
"I always thought you would go and kill your family, just like your older sister almost did..." The voice went on.
"K-K... K-Kayley..." She stuttered, tears running down her cheeks.
"But you tried taking a different path which you know will end exactly how you tried to prevent it from happening in the first place..." The voice kept forcing all of Amari's hope out, and it was working.
"And at that one place... everything will change." The voice left her to her own thoughts, her own despair. She twitched, uncomforted with her mind. Her helplessness came back with time, seeing the fight return to normal.

Brego looked at her, unwilling to believe that Amari was actually crying because of being so upset... it wasn't like her at all to cry like this.
"Let's get you out of here, you probably haven't fully recovered yet." Brego escorted Amari out, leading her away from the fight.

The energy sphere around the figure continued to get bigger as he stared at the bomb X threw at him. He tried to move, but he couldn't. That's when he realised he was paralysed.

"Thats for my friends.." I turned and walked away as it went off the explosion causing me to stagger slightly.

Vlad and Dan were laying outside, looking at the clouds and jets in the sky. Vlad knew that the group would be okay inside, but Dan just really didn't care much.

The dark energy sphere that was around the hooded figure quickly expanded as the bomb blew up. The energy sphere was carrying dark ooze with it as it expanded until it touched the side of the dome, then it exploded, breaking the dark energy dome around X and throwing dark ooze everywhere. It would probably knock X down from being so close and the ammount of dark ooze that would splatter on his back. When the remnants of the dark energy cleared, the hooded figure was nowhere to be found.

(I'm afraid I shall be gone 9 days :/ without access to the interent today so cya in 9 days ...)

I fell down and curled up into a ball covering myself in a small metel dome.

(Awwww, bye, Dex)

The dark ooze all came togethor in one spot, turning back into the hooded figure with blue fur. The figure grinned, "You can't beat me that eas-" "BEEP! BEEP!" The figure's watch started beeping really loudly, cutting him off. The figure pressed a button on his watch to stop the beeping, "Well, you got lucky this time, we'll finish this later" The hooded figure said, then he teleported out of sight.

(The fight was gonna end this post either way though, so it's not so bad)

(FFFF-- Oh well. By the way, is it okay if you two can shorten the fights a little? I'll allow the fights to be as long as you want near the end, but it was a bit of a drag having to wait for the fight to finish.)

"The... fight... s-stopped..." Amari was barely conscious. She was still mumbling unrecognisable words, some just sounds. Brego saw Dan and Vlad laying down.
"Lay down with those two, I'm going back in." He told her, finding it foolish to not let her rest in a state like this. The two could hear them talking, and as they sat up and looked at Amari, they turned their heads to each other, wondering what happened. "Leave her." Brego said over his shoulder, turning round and walking back to the building.

(Yeah... Sorry about that... that fight was supposed to be over problem 25 posts ago lol)(Ooooh... I just got an idea, maybe in later on fights me and Dex can just message each other and do posts with alot of action in them, that way it doesn't take so long for the fights to be over)

(Shoot... I just realised I now have no characters... I guess I'll have to bring in some characters earlier then I thought)

[Far away from the group]

A hedgehog with brown fur was standing, facing a large army of about 200 soldiers, he was wieling dual swords. Lucky for him, most of the other army had swords too, except they were laser swords. "What I do for those two..." The hedgehog mumbled, then he charged forards towards the soldiers as they charged towards him, except for the 20 or so gunmen. The hedgehog frontflipped over the first row of soldiers, while in mid-air he grabbed both swords in one hand and pulled out a dagger from a sheath on his side, then threw it right at a gunman who was just about to shoot him. The dagger hit the gunman perfectly in the head just as the hedgehog landed right in the middle of a large mass of soldiers. The hedgehog put the other sword in his unoccupied hand and instantly sliced two swordsmen in the side.

Brego looked around, wondering where the others went.

"Okay, the building's clear. It's ours now." An MRA officer reported through a walkie talkie, looking over the base from by the anti-air tanks. There wasn't anything else around that was an enemy of the M.R.A, meaning the base was now free for the M.R.A to move in to. Vlad and Dan could hear the tanks drawing nearer along with some 6x6 vehicles driving down to the deserted base. Brego walked back out, ignoring everything else that was going on.
"Let's get out of here..." He ordered, beginning to head off in the opposite direction they came before.

The hedgehog put both of his swords in the air, blocking four different attacks from all around him, he then sweepkicked the four attackers in the legs, letting them fall to the ground, droppng their swords. THe hedgehog then charged towards a large group, slashing his swords through the air as he went. He stopped inside a large group and turned around, watching about 10 swordsmen falling to the ground, hit by the hedgehog's swords.

I stood up looking around and then teleported off.

(YAYYYYY!!! Welcome back, Dex!)

The hedgehog frowned, "13 down, 187 to go" He mumbled to himself, then backfliped, just barely dodging a sword inches from his head. The hedgehog heard two guns go off and twisted his body in mid-air to dodge both of the bullets. He was in right above a crowd of soldiers, so he sliced his swords down, instantly taking out two more soldiers before he even landed. Then he landed and instantly ducked, doging a sword from cutting his neck open by inches.

I sighed standing ontop of a cliff looking down into the sea.

Someone tapped on X's shoulder.

The hedgehog stood back up as he kicked one of the swordsmen's knee in, while blocking two attacks with his swords. The hedgehog then ducked, dodging several swords by inches, and spun, slicing everyone around him. His attackers fell to the ground, then he jumped in the air, he then heard five guns go off at oonce, aiming at him. He twisted his body in the air, he dodged three of the bullets, one of them completely missed him, and one of the bullets hit him in his left arm, sending him flying back with a large ammount of force as he dropped his left sword. "AGGHHHHHH!!!" The hedghehog yelled in pain as he flew back in the air. All of a sudden, the hedgehog felt someone grab his leg while he was in the air, and then slam him into the ground with a large ammount of force, leaving behind a medium sized crater.

I span around turning my arms into blades.

There was no one there, but there was smoke in the distance. A city was burning and being destroyed.

The hedgehog groaned as he looked up at the large swordsman above him, pointing a sword at the hedgehog. The hedgehog kicked the soldier in the chest, the soldier staggered back while the hedgehog jumped to his feet, picking his right sword up off the ground in mid-air, then he landed and sliced his sword at the soldier's side. The soldier grinned as he heard the clank, he had to much armor on for the sword to penetrate. The large army was now surrounding the hedgehog.

I narrowed my eyes then suddenly vanished teleporting into the city.


(He good or bad?)

(I'd probably have to say bad... But I'm not to sure yet)

It was to late, the city was already destroyed. There was no signs of life anywhere and the fire blazed all around X.

The gunmen were now all on high ground, aiming their guns down at the hedgehog, "Surrender, hedgehog!" The large soldier commanded. The hedgehog sighed and dropped his sword, he caught a glance of a soldier to his right holding his sword. "Kick your sword over here" The soldier commanded, the hedgehog did as he was told. The soldier cautiously walked forwards to the hedgehog, then stood behind him, grabbing the hedgehog's arms, "Aghhh!" The hedgehog groaned in pain as he felt his left arm move. His arm felt like it was torn in half, he looked down at his arm and saw there was abunch of blood running down his arm. The large soldier handcuffed the hedgehog, then tied a cloth around his wound. "Gah!" The hedgehog groaned as he felt the cloth tighten around his wound. "You're no good to me dead" The soldier mumbled under his breath.

(Aww :c I wanted a friend.. lol)

I narrowed my eyes walking through the city.

"... How come we're back here?" Dan realised they had gone all the way back to Brego's place. He was stood outside a large garage door with a sun roof covering it whilst with Vlad and Amari, who was recovering well.
"We're getting a lift to Odin City. It's a few miles away from here, filled with lowlifes." Amari commented, more detached from her emotional side than usual. Vlad looked around... not even the smoke that came from the base all those miles away was in sight any more, He didn't want to ask where they thought they were.

(Damn homework, never gives me free time.)

Their was only one building that wasn't completely destroyed. The building was to X's right and only the roof was on fire. It looked like the only house in the city that could actually contain life.

'Hurry up!' The hedgehog thought, waiting for his backup. 'There!' he saw someone in the distance. He tried to ignore it so the soldiers wouldn't see the person. A ship was starting to land near the army, 'Hurry up! Hurry up!' The hedgehog thought.
