Brego's mumbling got quieter and quieter, but the sword also got dimmer and dimmer.

(Paltpous or something is Dex's figure... So I wanna know if he's attacking that figure or my figure... If it's mine then they're covered in a energy shield and can't be hit)

The figure grinned as Moe's beam dissappeared along with his shield. The figure ran forwards, shooting a dark energy ball at Moe while heading straight for Brego.

(Harbringer is mine :3 and X was shooting it at him)

I watched Harbringer raise an arm and slam the fire away. I growled and ran forwards.

A faint, red aura appeared and dispersed around Brego. He opened his eyes, his pupils glowing faintly red. At that very moment he took a swing of his sword, this time with the same amount of power of the dark energy beam, which had been absorbed earlier, erupting forward in an X pattern. Since Valor was also fully charged, Brego pulled the gun out and fired a very large and powerful red shot of energy at the figure after swinging his sword.

Moe backflipped over the dark energy ball.

"Gah!" The figure groaned as Brego's sword strike connected with his skin. The figure yelled as the energy beam hit him, sending him flying way back and slamming into the wall, collapsing the wall ontop of him and sending dust in the air. The red aura on Moe slowly dissappeared, along with the black eyes. The dark energy shield dissappeared also.

I swung my leg, which he blocked but followed it up with an uppercut. It made contact but barely only making him stumble. I threw an explosive orb which he hit away. He grinned firing a red beam, as I fired a black one.

Brego started walking over to the figure, sword drawn. He was desperate to find out who this person was, ignoring the two tank shells that exploded nearby.
"Shouldn't we do something to distract these people?!" Dan was worried for the safety of the others.
"Zhey can take care of zhemselves! Trust me!" Vlad's only response was.

As Brego walked over to the figure, he saw that there was no one there.

Moe ran over to Brego and looked at the pile of rubble, raising an eyebrow, "Where is he?" Moe asked.

The two beams collided causing a large shockwave and what sounded like an explosion. I pushed harder the beam getting bigger.

Brego looked around for any shadowy area in hopes that he could chase down where the person went.
"..." His sword stayed drawn, yet he wasn't so sure about what to do...
"Next time, we kill him." Brego snarled, sheathing his sword. He turned round and starting walking back.

By now, the tanks and other guards were gone.

"Yeah, good luck with that" The figure's voice echoed inside the room.

"Who is this guy?!" Moe asked himself, not expecting an answer. "Meet me at the top of Mt. Chaos at noon and you'll find out. "Oh, but bring nobody but Brego, Dex, Dax and Floyd, or Heart dies" The figure's voice echoed inside the room again. Moe half-grinned, half-frowned when he heard that. He walked over to Brego, "So, now we know where to find him tomorrow, but they've got Heart" Moe said, his fists clenching when he said the word 'Heart'.

"People have been entering and leaving our group loads of times... remind me who Heart is." Brego insisted.

Vlad and Dan came out of hiding. They tried to locate the others, but that was going to be pretty difficult for them.

Floyd came out of hiding and looked around, he then saw Dan not to far away.

Moe blushed, knowing that he could describe Heart almost perfectly from memory. "Pink-ish purple fur, heart birthmark on her neck. Pink eyes, wears a heart necklace." Moe told Brego.

The beams exploded sending both me and Harbringer back. I backflipped skidding as he landed down neatly on his feet. I motioned for him to come at me.

"I'd rather get Miyo back." Brego said, sliding a window open as he jumped out.

"Oh hey Lloyd." Dan greeted him, walking over. Vlad followed.

Moe jumped out of the window after Brego. "But you wanna learn who that guy is, don't you?" Moe asked.

"Floyd" Floyd corrected. "Hey, Dan, Vlad" Floyd greeted them.

Brego sighed, looking out at the skyline under the large metal ceiling.
"Look... there's a lot of stuff going on. That big robot that attacked us and blew up the truck, the hooded guy, that robot angel... that isn't even half of it. Rorto's about somewhere, Doom Storm are laying their power down heavily on the Rebels, The Chailists don't look as if they'll try helping us and if we don't get that Entity Gem, we'll damage our chances of stopping DS from taking over Mobius. And I NEED to find Miyo..." He was clearly stressed, but his tone was more calm than usual. He starting thinking to himself... time wasn't on their side.
"We need to act now. Let's get back to the others, we're starting our infiltration on the factory." He growled. Straight away, he began jogging forwards to where he could hear Vlad, Dan and Lloyd talking.

"Oh, Floyd. Seen the others?" Dan asked.

"But... I love her..." Moe mumbled under his breath. He then followed Brego, already thinking of how to get Heart back without Brego, and maybe even the others, coming along.

Floyd shook his head, "Just you two" He said.

I smiled as he ran. The speed was as if he'd just teleported. I rose my arms in an X shape as his fist appeared in a flicker slamming into my arms. I skidded back and then brought my arm up to do a chop. He rose his arm to block it, which in turn allowed me to do my combo. I slammed my fist into his side.

He winched bending over. I brought my elbow down upon his back and then kneed him in the face. Flipping him over I brought my leg up and brought it down on his chest.

I rose my hand and then brought it down sending an explosive ball onto him. When the dust cleared I gasped as he was gone.


"Not bad X but no where as good as it should be"

"Still no sign of Dex..." Vlad mumbled, who didn't want to call him X.
"Here's Lloyd and grumpy-pants anyway." Dan said as Brego jumped down from the building above - only a few metres tall.
"We're infiltrating the power plant asap. Get ready, we're nicking a car." He announced.
"Wait a minute, we still need X and those... 'Rugrats'?" Dan reacted with, referring to the Road Rats from earlier.
"They'll have to deal with a rude awakening, then." Brego snarled, knowing that even though he would have chosen anyone else over those people, they were the only guys he could rely on for the job.

Floyd looked up from where Brego came from and waited for several seconds before turning to Brego, "Where's Moe?" He asked.

I teleported at him and wrapped my fist around his neck gripping hard. This would normally crush a steel bar, but it wasn't working. Harbringer grapped my arm and began to pull it off.

"Coming... where the hell IS X?!" He was short on his temper right now.

Floyd started slowly backing away from Brego.

I kneed him twice so his loosend his grip. "A little something for you" My other hand shot out and I placed it on his face and unleashed the balefire again.
