Vlad could feel the APC come to a halt. The sound of the driver's hatch opening was clear enough for everyone to hear, plus Brego's talking voice.
"Four passengers." Brego's voice could be heard clearly enough. There was another voice baring similarities to a Doom Storm troop, but footsteps were coming round to the back of the APC. "Everyone in there stay calm, they're inspecting the vehicle." Brego calmly announced, knowing everyone would hear him.
"... Who...?" Vlad saw the hatch open, with two Doom Storm troops armed with smaller assault rifles and, strangely, much lighter armour. 'SECURITY' was engraved into the chest plate in capitals.
"Please stand up, keep your hands to your sides and empty anything in your pockets." One of the security guards asked, very politely for someone belonging to DS. Vlad and Dan stood up, doing as they were told. Dan emptied out a pocket knife and some Tic Tacs. Amari and Vlad didn't have any pockets.

(I sort of like the name Fatima, but everyone else likes Nichole, I guess I'm doing Nichole lol. I like both names anyways)

The cat pulled out a bow and arrow from nowhere, he quickly loaded the bow then aimed it at Dex, "Who are you?!" The cat asked, knowing that no Mobians lived in the city.

Moe opened his eyes and stood to his feet, he then emptied the one thing in his pocket, a glowing dark red crystal.

"I'm X. I'm not going to harm you"

One of the guards picked up the crystal, curious.
"What's this?" He asked. The other guard turned round to take a look at what he had in his hand. Amari's only visible eye was fixed on Moe with suspicion.

(Sorry, I keep forgetting that lol)

"What are you doing here?" The cat asked, not taking his aim off X.

Moe closed his eyes as he thought for a second, then he opened them as he answered, "It's a synth-stone, it can be used to make a forcefield projector if you have all the right parts".

"Non-lethal." The guard handed it back to Moe, the other one finishing the frisking with Dan as he took the pocket knife.
"What are you doing with that?" Dan was unsettled that his better source of protection was being taken away from him.
"Confiscating it. We'll return it to you on your departure." The guard calmed him.
"It's such a big deal that I have a small knife...?" He felt it was reasonable enough, but considering they were all going into completely new territory, he felt nervous.
"We make sure no citizen or civilian is armed with any dangerous weaponry. Unfortunately, there are reports of a few managing to sneak in weapons, but we're unable to find the whereabouts of this breach." He explained. "Well, enjoy your stay in Odin City." The two guards walked out and around the APC to tell Brego they could go in. The hatch closed and shortly after the APC continued on.

"Tati, the target's entering the vicinity. I know he'll be taking a route going past your location and he won't be alone." A familiar red hedgehog was in a dark room on her laptop, downloading and reading the data she was being sent with the earpiece in.
"You know armour won't be a problem." She was quick to say, looking at the aliases of those in the APC.
"As long as you don't--"
"Hold on." Tati's eyes were fixated on Amari's alias. "That annoying bitch that's stopped those other two assassinations is with them."
"You'll be fine with taking down the target, she isn't able to sense when people will die."
"How do you know this...?" Amari was concerned, but it was helpful enough that she didn't object.
"You know you don't question me. Take down the target and get out of there. The sooner the better." The person's voice was replaced by static noise. As Tati finished reading the last bit of information, she shut down the laptop and picked up her sniper rifle along with a bipod, an ammunition clip, her night vision glasses and a backpack.

I looked behind me. "I just came here. I helped three people escape from a destroyed building.

The bow and arrow started to glow a blue color, then they vanished. "Then do either of you two know what happened?" The cat asked the man and X.

Moe smirked, as he pocketed the crystal. He was surprised he had actually tricked the guard with the story he had made up on the spot.

(The crystal still is non-lethal... (In a way, I guess,) but he didn't want it confiscated due to what it can do... Not to mention he's not to sure what it does, either lol)

(He'd probably get shot if he was to reveal the crystal having any kind of danger XD)

Brego hadn't been to the city in ages, he could only remember it was the only city in Mobius where the sun never shined on it and that crime could almost never be stopped. He'd forgot where he was raised in the city, but that didn't matter. He knew where what he needed to find was and it wouldn't be hard. The main part would be having to get in... it'd be far too dangerous for himself to even show his face there.
"Guys, I'm dropping you off in about ten minutes. Amari will know what to do from there." His voice spoke over the intercom. She didn't like the sound of it.

I shook my head. "I rescuded these three.. They said some purple creature with spikes did this?"

(The crystal is a guardian crystal, funny thing is though, I've changed the meaning atleast once already but the name is still there. At first the guardian crystal was to be like the guardian bell in this one game I played, but now it's not lol)

The man nodded, confirming X's story, "When I saw the purple creature enter the town, I looked through my window at it, and then a flash of red light came and the whole city caught on fire" The man said. "That must be one powerful creature..." The cat pondered to himself.

Moe looked around at Amari, Vlad, and then Dan as he thought to himself.

"Oh.." I wondered if everyone in the group was ok.. "Well we best be going.."

The cat looked at the man, "The Humans are gonna blame the Mobians for this..." He mumbled under his breath, then he looked at X, "Forgive my rudeness, I'm Floyd" He said to X.

They were at the location.
"Alright, you're out." Brego said as the exit hatch opened up to reveal a dim, dark alleyway. The only source of light was the neon billboard on the other side of the street to them, with a few lamp lights. Dan cautiously followed Vlad out of the APC, looking up. There wasn't a sky... just several tall buildings reaching up to a dark matte roof that covered the entire city. The air felt damp, which Vlad was thankful for since he forgot the last time he had a drink.
"Is zhere bar anyvhere?" Vlad asked, turning to Amari as she walked out. She looked to the right, noticing the billboard straight away.
"... In here." Amari murmured. She hopped up to the driver's hatch and opened it, taking something from Brego. Vlad was curious as to what it was, but she kept it in her hand as she hopped off. Dan watched as a light DS gunship flew over the nearest 200 foot tower.

I smiled. "Nice to meet you Floyd"

Floyd smiled and looked back to to the man, "Is there anywhere safe the surviving Humans can go?" Floyd asked both X and the man.

Moe hopped out of the APC and looked around, "Man..." Moe mumbled under his breath, it seemed so dark and gloomy to him.

Amari began for the double doors underneath the billboard. The other two followed her into the building, realizing it was a relatively large bar. Strangely, there was only the bartender and nine rough, thuggish rats. All of them turned their eyes to Amari.
"Well well well... proves that bats do have poor eyesight. Didn't we tell you to stay the hell out of here?" The much larger rat spoke out, he being almost as big as Vlad.
"I'm not going to fight, Big. I just want to make a deal." She did her best to avoid a fight, which all of the rats were more than willing to get into right now. They all laughed at her, thinking she was joking.
"And what makes you think we'd be stupid enough to help the ones who almost put us behind bars?" Big raised his voice as he stood up, toppling stool behind him in anger. Amari stayed quiet for a moment, trying to keep her thoughts neutral.
"Maybe if you listened to what I have to say, we could figure something out." She tried to persuade them to listen, but it seemed unlikely. Dan noticed a CCTV camera in the bar, which made him feel a little unnerved but also secure at the same time.

Moe didn't go in the bar, he just continued walked and looking around, wondering what this place was.

"... Fine then. But if I don't like it, you're not gonna be eating solid food ever again." Big threatened, and he meant it. Amari held out her clenched fist, then revealed three 1'000 credit notes in her hand, dangling from her fingers.
"See how much money this is?" Amari knew what Big would do with the money, but it's what Brego gave her to bribe them. "3'000 credits. But, you'll need to let us borrow something in return." She added to the twist. Big picked up his stool, placing it down as he leaned on it for support.
"And what... do you want to borrow?" He and all the others all stayed silent. Amari looked at them all for a few brief seconds: How these people could be trusted was almost out of the question.
"One of your vehicles." She said, but already she could sense they were aggravated by this.
"Why the hell should we trust that freaking witch with our wheels?" One of the rats shouted, but was silenced by Big. He turned his attention back to Amari, thinking about what could happen if this was to go through. He really needed the money... but losing any of their vehicles would be a waste.
"... Which vehicle?" He was curious. A few of the vehicles were out of Amari's reach for now. She thought to herself, putting her finger to her chin.
"We stole that SUV those couple of weeks ago which we haven't done anything to yet, they could use that." Another rat suggested.
"Ooooh yeah... hehe, it was fun messing with the owner of that vehicle until Tank had to smash his brains out."
"He wouldn't shut up..." The other large rat grumbled, his milky eye staring at the glass of beer on the table with a patch of missing fur on the same side of his head.
"Alright then, bat... we'll give you a vehicle. But if it doesn't come back... we'll hunt you down." Big agreed to the deal, eventually. He stood up, then started walking to the back door as all the others stood up and followed.
"We'll meet back here tomorrow." Amari called out before they all walked out, she knew Big heard her. She turned back round to Vlad and Dan.
"I do not trust them..." Vlad didn't want to let his guard down against them.
"Eh, just some dumb thugs." Dan crossed his arms, looking at the door which they left from.

I nodded. "Well I can either take them with me and then find a place or I can drop them off in another city?"

Floyd looked at the man, "I know of a city nearby, but it's filled with Mobians, are you ok with that?" Floyd asked, "No!" The man replied. Floy rolled his eyes and mumbled something under his breath, "The nearest human city is a long journey away" He told the man, "Ok, if it's such a long journey I better start right now" The man said. Floyd facepalmed, mumbling something else under his breath, "Why won't you go to the Mobian city until you can get transported to the Human city" Floyd asked, "Fine! I'll go to the Mobian city!" The man said in disgust. Floyd felt his hands instinctively clench in anger, 'Why do they look down upon us Mobians?' Floyd thought.

After walking on for a little bit, Moe turned back and went inside the bar. "What did I miss?" He asked, looking at Amari, Vlad, and Dan.

I glanced at Floyd. "Because they fear us.." I said into his mind. I looked at the man. "I can take you the human city instantly if you wish.. as with the other three." I glanced at the other man, woman and child.

Floyd looked at X and took a step back as he raised an eyebrow. 'A... telepath?!' Floyd thought. "That would be greatly appreciated" The man said to X. The other group walked over to X.

"Nothing, we were just leaving." Amari walked out, looking around for a hotel. Vlad quickly rushed into the toilet to get a drink from the taps, whilst Dan looked at the various drinks on the shelves.

Brego had driven the APC into a private underground car park, using a card he had kept in his wallet for years. Luckily nobody was around when he got out, but just to make sure he wasn't seen he rolled under the APC and vanished into the shadows underneath.

Moe walked back out the door, following Amari. Moe opened his mouth to speak, but then closed it again. He wanted to know more about this Amari character, but didn't know how to start a conversation with her.
