Moe started charging a dark energy beam as he ducked behind some cover.

Vlad saw Moe doing this and covered him, but he was getting pinned back by all the gunfire. Dan rolled over the desk behind him in retreat, luckily not getting shot to pieces.
"Aaaaalmost..."

Moe launched out of his cover and ran straight for the guards, zig-zagging in and out of fire, just barely dodging the bullets. Moe then jumped over the swarm of guards and shot the dark energy beam directly at them from above. As the dark energy beam slammed into the floor, it caused the ground to shake around the guards enough to make any normal sized person to lose their balance. Moe then teleported back beside Vlad and started getting ready for his next attack.

I stuck my handgun away. "Time for abit of heavy duty" I rose my arm up palm outwards and then stood up spinning around to face the guards. Suddenly tons of small energy balls flew at them.

Their numbers had been reduced to a third because of the incoming attacks the guards had suffered.
"DONE, LET'S GO!" Brego saw the door open and darted through, firing a few shots behind him. Dan sprinted to the doorway and ran through after him, with Vlad waiting for X and Moe to head through.

Floyd ran straight for the door, and quickly followed after Dan

Moe took two steps forwards, "Get out of here, I've got your backs" He said to X and Vlad as he shot a dark energy beam at a group of guards.

(I really feel like my story is lacking.. I need to change some stuff up [Characters, Powers, Personalities, Fighting styles, Plot, ect.] :/)

I got up and then teleported through, as my figures provided cover.

(I think I've been using Marauders too much. They're meant to really give a sense that they're big and threatening, but I use them as if they're just another large person instead of being a really intimidating cyborgs. D'OH WELL.)

After they were both in, Vlad ran behind them closely, managing to keep up. As Brego took a sharp right through a narrow corridor, he was half way through until a medium APC crashed through, almost hitting the bat and possibly killing it.
"Kill 'em!" The driver inside yelled, opening the door as he fired a deafening shot at the group. Brego quickly deflected the shot with his sword, quickly decapitating the driver before he could reload. However, the group were ambushed inside the corridor as behind Vlad, the wall was rammed down too. Vlad didn't have time to react as a Vanguard swung it's shield at him, bouncing him into the wall as he lost his minigun. Three assault troops had taken cover behind the Vanguard, firing over the top.
"We've got enemies behind us!" Dan shouted, turning round to fire at the vanguard, but his weapon was useless against it's shield. The passengers in the APC unboarded, most of which were CQC troops with tri-barreled shotguns and a couple of Torchers (which have been renamed from 'Firedancers' which just made them sound... gay.) Brego attacked the enemies in front of him, but the shotguns were proving difficult to deal with since their spread was so wide.

(Lol Firedancers does sound kind of gay)

Moe a weak energy beam at a group of guards before retreating through the door. Moe quickly looked around for them when he saw where a wall had been caved in, which he teleported past, finding himself in the middle of a battle and right infront of a Vanguard.

(Oh god this new layout isn't what I was expecting it to be.)

The vanguard saw Moe, and thrusted it's shield at him with force. One of the soldiers at the back had it's head blasted to bits by Vlad, but there were still several more from both sides to deal with. One of the Torchers released an inferno of heat upon Brego, who shielded himself with his coat. Yet the heat was burning through the coat as if it was made of oil. He threw the coat forwards then grabbed his sword.
"Get out of my FACE!" He yelled, then he kicked the handle on his sword at a position where it spun round going forwards, slicing the guards in half before finishing both the torchers off with Honor and Valor. Vlad was getting impatient, firing a rocket at the Vanguard, but against it's shield it didn't do much.

Moe rolled out of the way of the shield and shot a weak dark energy ball at the Vanguard.

(What were you expecting it to be? But yeah, when I first logged on I was like, "Am I on the right site? Yeah.. I have to be, I used my shortcut to get here")

"Hmm" I threw a rather large metal ball towards the group behind us and watched as it sped towards them.
