The guards could hear others falling dead around them, with gunshots going off. Vlad's only source of light was from the repeated flashes of bullets from his minigun and all he had to locate the other guards were the flashes from their rifles. Dan wasn't sure whether to turn the lights back on, but now Brego had focused his efforts on trying to stop any more guards from coming out.
"X, Lloyd, get in the building! I'll cover you!" He shouted over all the gunfire as white blurs whizzed all over the place.

(Lol that made me crack up when you said that, but no, it's supposedly (what's the word?), it doesn't erupt anymore)

Floyd fumbled to his feet and ran towards the building.

"Guh..." Moe groaned in pain as he held his head in both hands as memories flashed through his head. After the memories, and the pain, subsided, Moe looked around, and almost jumped when he saw the hooded figure behind him. "You!" Moe exclaimed. The hooded figure stepped forwards as Moe got into a fighting stance.

I ran after him firing at anything that moved.

"That's no way to welcome a guest, is it?" The figure asked as he took another step closer to Moe. Moe grabbed the figure by the throat and started to choke him, "Where's Heart?" Moe questioned the figure. "You don't know?" The figure asked, grinning. Moe started squeezing his neck even more, "Tell me where she is!" Moe demanded. "I-in the vol-volcano..." The figure said, struggling for breath.

(I hate revision and studying...)

Vlad saw Lloyd dash past him. He also started running, doing his best to fire whilst on the run, but his accuracy was rubbish. Two guards almost shot him in the head whilst he was moving.
"Veapon change!" He threw his minigun away, crushing a guard unintentionally, then summoned a shotgun and started firing away. Dan snuck up to where he heard something heavy land, then used the frequent flashes of light to see and pick up the rifle that was dropped. He used that, then ran inside whilst firing blindly behind him. There was another guard that was about to come out of the entrance from the darkness, but he was quickly done with by Brego.

Floyd started to look around as he held his shoulder in pain. "Man this hurts..." He mumbled as he tried to stop the bleeding with a piece of his shirt.

Moe dropped the figure and looked over to the volcano and saw Heart inside a metal cage that was just hanging by a rope that was close to tearing. "Heart!" Moe yelled. Heart looked up at Moe, "Moe! Help me!" She yelled. Moe looked over his shoulder at the figure, except the figure was gone. "Where in the-" Moe was cut off by the sound of Heart's screaming and then a loud splash, followed by a sizzling sort of sound.

(O.O HOLY SHIZZLE NIZZLE!)

I backflipped over afew bullets that were sprayed at me and fired back.

"HEART!!!" Moe yelled as he looked back into the volcano. The cage was gone, along with Heart. "HEART!!!" Moe yelled again, hoping that she was somehow still alive. "There's only one person to blame..." Moe heard a voice say from behind of him. Moe spun around and glared at the hooded figure, Moe's eyes pitch black and giving off a sort of glow, darkness springing from his fists, "I'm gonna kill you!" Moe yelled as he charged at the figure.

The portal warped and grew as the pillar got bigger a giant ship emerging. Another blare and small missles began to rain down upon the war torn city.

The figure spun out of the way of Moe, sweeping his legs out from under him in the process, making Moe fall to the floor as the figure stood over him. "You only have yourself to blame, Ma-" The figure started, "SHUTUP!!!" Moe send as he kicked his legs in the air, the pushed himself off the ground and landed on his feet in one fluid motion. Moe then threw a punch at the figure, who simply caught the punch, and twisted Moe's arm behind his back, pushing it up into a submission lock. "Now, I suggest you listen to me, or I'll break your arm" The figure said. "Good, I know a way to get Heart back, but for me to do so, I want something from you in return..." The figure said, as he let go of Moe's arm. Moe turned around to face him, "And why should I trust you? I don't even know who you are" Moe said, and then he watched as the figure pulled the hood off of his head, revealing his face.

Floyd looked around, his eyes slowly starting to adjust to the darkness.

"We need to keep moving, all the guards know we're here!" He turned round and started running. Vlad and Dan followed.
"Stay as a group, it's easy to get lost in h--" He pulled out Honor in reaction to a heavy troop appearing by the doorway, diving behind cover as he fired a few shots at it. Vlad shot at him twice but the shells didn't do much.
"Damn it, take that guy down!" Brego yelled as his cover was slowly getting chipped away by the thundering minigun fire.

Floyd's bow appeared in his hands and he aimed it at the heavy troop, using his left hand to pull the arrow back and his right hand to aim, because of this though, his aim was very unsteady, and when he shot the arrow, it wasn't heading towards where Floyd wanted it to go, and instead was headed for the heavy troop's shoulder.

(OO who is the figure :O suspence and drama :D)

I turned my gaze to the Heavy Trooper. I formed a metal ball in my hand and threw it.

(All in due time my friend... All in due time *Laughs evilly*. Anyways, I think you should also be concerned about Moe, because if Moe's reasoning with the mystery guy who appears to be hostile... (I'm letting you guess))

I knocked on Marcia's door, and after hearing her voice telling me to come in, I opened the door. "Hey, Marce," I greeted her as I walked into the room and closed the door behind me, looking around at her room as I did so. "Not trying to be rude or anything, but what do you want?" Marcia asked me as politely as she could. "Well," I said as I sat on her bed, "I wanted to talk." I told her, "About what?" She asked.

The guard went down surprising fast.
"Keep moving! We've gotta get there and get out before the whole building get's locked down!" Brego sprinted through the doorway and left, with Dan and Vlad barely keeping up. He arrived at another door, but Vlad could easily assume he wanted to go through and shoulder barged the door through. They were only one door away from getting to the entity gem, but the last door had a code lock on it. If they destroyed that, they wouldn't be able to get into the room.
"FFFFFFF--... Okay, ALL of you need to keep an eye out and fight off any bad guys that come our way! I'm gonna try tapping into this!" Brego shouted over the noise of the alarms. Vlad and Dan both quickly set themselves up in position.
"Vlad, can you gimme a gun?" Dan asked. He made a pistol appear in one hand, throwing it to Dan.

I glanced around cocking my gun making sure it was loaded. "This should be entertaining.." I made afew figures who took up places each wieled assusslt rifles.

(Sorry, I've been on vacation lately, and after I got back was busy. I'm glad to be back though, and am thinking on restarting The Adventures of Horus :-) )

Floyd stood a bit behind Vlad and Dan, grasping his shoulder in pain. "Man this hurts!" He thought out loud, wondering how he would be able to help with a wounded shoulder.

[Moe]

I watched as he teleported away, leaving me standing alone on this volcano. 'What should I do... He promised me... But do I trust him...' I thought to myself, looking at where the figure was standing just seconds before. 'But this power... I've never felt anything like it before, and he promised me that he would get Heart back AND make me even stronger if I did his "task".' I thought as I looked at my hands. I thought about it for just a little longer, before looking back in the direction I had come from, 'I've made up my mind...' I thought as I clenched my fists, then I teleported away.

(Oh snap, didn't realise you got back. Welcome back.)

Tens of footsteps were making their way to the group's position. It wasn't helping Brego concentrate much, but he kept working at his job.
"..." Dan and Vlad remained focused.

Moe suddenly appeared next to Dan and Vlad, quickly glanced around, and started making a dark energy ball in his hands.

Floyd took a couple steps back and watched Moe for a bit.

(I'm really gonna need to step the action up now.)

From all four doors came a swarm of DS guards, Heavy troopers and a few light mechs in the mixture, too. There were even a couple of spider bots with rapid fire weapons. All of them opened fire.
"OH SHNITZELS." Dan ducked behind a desk, firing blindly over the desk with his pistol at the guards. Vlad stayed put, retreating back since he was quite an easy target, but he was dishing out a lot of damage.
"THERE'S TOO MANY!" Vlad yelled.

(Because of Moe?)

"Yikes!" Floyd retreated back and hid behind any cover he could find, trying to think of a way to help.

Moe quickly shot the dark energy ball at a spider bot, and then did a backflip, quickly charging two medium strength energy beams and firing them at two different crowds of guards.

[Elsewhere]

The hooded figure looked into a cylinder shaped chamber at a female hedgehog who was submerged in some sort of liquid that kept her in a coma-like state. "That Moe guy is going to do the grunt work for us, and the rest is simple, but what do you plan on using the girl for?" The hooded figure asked a much larger figure next to him, who gave him no reply.

I looked around from the cover I had taken and fired twice. My figures began returning heavy fire.

The more guards that fell, almost the exact same amount came rushing in to return fire.
"BREGO, HOW LONG UNTIL YOU'RE DONE?!" Dan yelled, a gunshot firing between his ears.
"ALMOST! JUST HOLD ON!" He impatiently shouted back.
