Sonic: The Apocalypse

"You don't understand," King turned towards Dex, "He was nearly unstoppable before Mobius was turned into a wasteland. Now he has a chaos emerald, he's going to be impossible to defeat without a super army."

Dex

"Well he's not the only one with a Chaos Emerald. Besides I'm hardly a pushover in a fight."

"I believe you, but he's taken on and won against people who had chaos emeralds before, without one."

Dex

I frowned sighing. "What about an bombardment on his base then..?"

King turned and walked towards a map behind his desk, "That would just be provoking him.. We're going to have to get a lot stronger before we do anything to him.."

Dex

I raised an eyebrow. "Your talking to someone who can create an army just like that who posses an emerald." I chuckled and stood up. "What exactly do we need to become stronger?"

"We need more Chaos Emeralds," King said, looking over the map.

(Dinner bbs)

Dex

"Ah.. well in that case we'd either find one or take one from someone."

King nodded, "That's the hard part.. Everyone is looking for the Chaos Emeralds, they're hidden really well.. And I'm not sure if we could take another Chaos Emerald without suffering major casualties."

Dex

I nodded. "Well I have been working on an Emerald detector to hunt them down."

"Really? How close are you to making it?*" King asked, looking at Dex, interested.

(*Make it a while from now, I don't want us having something like that so early in the RP. Also, this RP is most likely going to have a day-night system, so there should be days.)

Dex

"No where near where I want it to be.. Hell at best a some weeks and worst months.."

(change of plan on my end)

Kath was starting to recover properly... she was starting to open her eyes now, looking up at the ceiling. Her readings were still normal, but she wasn't yet aware of where she even was. As she lifted her head, she looked around the room with rather concerned eyes.

"Great..." King grumbled, looking at the map again.

One of the nurses noticed Kathlina* waking up and ran into the hall to get one of the doctors.

(*That's her name, right?)

Dex

I nodded. "Yeah but were working on it nonstop."

(Yup, that's her name.)

The hornless deer was almost fully awake now... she saw the nurse running off, a sight which panicked her. She looked around frantically at the bed she was on, noticing plenty of wires, the heartbeat monitor... it ignited her one haunting memory.

King's radio crackled to life.
"Sir, the girl from the ruins is awake!"
King looked to Dex, "Let's go!" He quickly ran out the door towards the hospital.

The nurse quickly made her way back with a doctor. The doctor walked to the edge of the hospital bed and smiled at Kathlina. "Good to see you awake. How are yo-" The doctor noticed that Kathlina looked frightened or like she wasn't all there, "Are you okay?"

Kath looked back at the doctor, her face covered with dread. She ripped the wires away from her, leaping out of the bed as her hair and her eyes glowed a vibrant orange colour... not the kind of response one would want. She stood in the centre of the room, telepathically lifting up most of the equipment in the room and levitating it behind her. She was giving the doctor a look that was telling her: 'stay away from me'.

Dex

I stood up and rushed off after him racing to the hospital. I frowned suddenly feeling a large energy spike. "What the.. the girl!" I teleported inside not wanting to waste time and arrived in the room she was in.

The doctor stepped back and lifted up his hands in a friendly pose while the nurse ran out of the room. "It's okay, we're here to help you." The doctor said.

King neared the room, the nurse running past him. He charged into the room and saw almost everything floating, "Whoa!"

Kathlina had a twitching frown on her face, her fear breaking through her anger... she didn't look so keen on dropping her guard, although taking a look at the doctor in her stance, the items below her slowly lowered closer and closer to the ground. Her hands could be seen starting to relax, despite still having her palms out. Taking another step back, Kath wanted to keep everyone in her view. Trust was something she lacked completely.

Dex

I glanced at King and then the doctor. Turning my gaze back on girl I looked her over. "Don't worry were not going to harm you." I gave her a friendly smile. "You were hurt so we brought you here to get you patched up." I didn't want to risk anything in case she flung something.

The doctor picked up a lollipop that they gave to kids who were treated and started taking small short steps towards Kathlina, holding it out to her as a gift to show that they were friends.

"..." All of the items suspended in the air by her telekinesis suddenly dropped to the floor with a few crashes and clatters. She took another step back away from the doctor, not keen on taking her lollipop. Her worried frown soon disappeared, although she still made it clear that she didn't want anyone near her. It was best to just leave her be, something she wanted by starting to close the door on everyone.
