The doctor laid the lollipop on the table in front of the bed, as she was right next to it, before backing up and raising his hands again.

I glanced at the King and the doctor. "Let's leave her be for now and talk later." I turned back to her. "We'll let you rest ok?" I slowly backed up and then left the room.

The doctor and King both started taking small steps backwards to the door, holding their hands up to show that they weren't going to harm Kathlina. Once they both exited, King slowly and quietly shut the door. He turned towards Dex, "What just happened?"

Kathlina retreated into the corner of the room amongst the equipment she aimlessly dropped, sitting down and tucking her legs in. She remained as quiet as a mouse.

(Does anybody know how the money is rewarded in this system? I just think it's weird that I have the most posts but Dan has the most money, is it based on post lengths or something?)

King turned to the doctor, "Try and make friends with her and help her to feel safe, okay? I want you to find out everything you can about her."

(Oh... nah, it's just some rubbish old system. You get money based on how many posts you have but when the creator of this site made this up and added the money thing, he gave himself and me a bonus. Not that anyone uses it.)

A rather unusual character walked in through the hospital doors. He didn't approach it like it was a hospital: he was very cautious of his surroundings. Not blatantly, but even from a distance you could tell his eyes were scanning for emergency exits, traps, anything that would jump out and threaten to lop his skull in half. He then noticed the receptionist at the desk... he appeared to ease off a little.

"Uh... 'scuse me." He had a rather gravelly voice. On closer inspection, it was as clear as daylight that he really needed a clean up. Patches of dried blood, soot, mud, scratches and scars, he looked like he had been dragged through Hell and came out the other side wondering what had even happened with the state his hair was in.
"You, uh... don't have any showers, do ya?"

"Uh.. Sure, just one moment, please," The receptionist walked to the wall and grabbed the walkie-talkie there.

King heard a voice and static coming through his walkie-talkie. He picked it up and brought it closer to his ear, "Hello?"
"There's someone at the desk you should see, sir."
"Okay, I'll be right there." King nodded to Dex and started off towards the receptionist desk.
