Sonic: The Apocalypse

Kath was still inside... her right leg was trapped by one of the panels which had come off from the outside impact, but she still looked as if she was struggling to retain her consciousness.

Dex

I swore again. "Right your coming with me." I quickly scrambled inside and lifted the panel up taking hold of Kathli and then placed my hand on the soldier teleporting us back to the dome. I laid them down and then teleported back grabbing the RPGS and then back to the dome again.

A medic ran over to the two wounded people now inside of the dome, checking to make sure they were okay. A couple soldiers ran over to grab the RPGs, aiming them at the Dark Beings.

Dex

"This ends here and now!" I held a large ball of energy in my hand then hurled it into the sky.

"Fire!" King yelled. The Vortex Soldiers fired their RPGs at the dome.

Dex

I smiled and watched as the ball split into many others and then fell down on the domes.

The RPG missiles slammed into the dome at the same time as the balls. The dome burst open and the attacks rained down on the Dark Beings, tearing them apart and sending blood, dark ooze, and body parts everywhere. King recoiled in disgust as a viscous mixture of blood and dark ooze splattered onto the front of the energy dome.

Dex

I shuddered slightly in disgust. "Well that was horrible.."

One of the Vortex Soldiers turned around and hurled. "You-You can take down the shield now." King said in disgust.

Dex

I nodded and did so quickly the slime suddenly going down onto the floor.

A few groans and "yucks" were heard from the Vortex Soldiers.

Dex

I shuddered. "Everyone ok?"

The orange-haired doe looked like she was starting to recover... slowly but surely. Her hand twitched, with some movement of her eyes under her eyelids. She groaned, clutching onto her cut shoulder.

The medic knelt down beside Kathli, "Are you okay?"

Dex

I turned around. "Ah good she's waking up"

She half-opened one of her eyes... there was a glow from her iris, which was as bright as her own hair. Although she wasn't yet aware of what was going on around her, she was picking herself up. For now, it was best to keep moving... there wasn't any knowing how long it would take for her to properly recover.

King turned towards Dex, "We need to get out of here. Do you think the transport is still in working condition?"

Dex

I shook my head. "No.. that thing was wrecked.. we could teleport though if we link hands"

"Okay," King said, looking around at his soldiers. They all started to get up and link hands, also grabbing onto the wounded.

Dex

I placed my hand on Kings shoulder. "Right once everyone is linked we can leave"

Everyone finished linking up.

Kathlina wasn't even aware of the two people holding onto her hands. She grasped onto both of them.

Dex

"Let's go!" I teleported us all out of there and then back to the base.

The medics rushed the wounded, including Kathlina, to the hospital.

Dex

"Should we follow them?" I glance at King.
