"Were doing well and no attacks yet. I'm surprised really. We have a large area under control you'd think someone would try and take it.. but I'm sure it won't be long now. So you have not heard about us then. Interesting, we like to keep tabs on all the surrounding "neighbours" as it were"

"Wait a second.. That's Far Reach? We didn't think it was operated by friendlies. And.. Are you the leader?" King asked.

Dex

I grinned nodding. "Yes. I control all of Far Reach. Your talking to the leader" I folded my arms and chuckled.

"Forgive me for not noticing sooner, we haven't done much recon in your area." King said.

Dex

I chucked again. "No problem. You should keep a track on who is where. It can help to know who may be a threat or an ally"

"We try to, but we've been so busy that we haven't been able to check everywhere." King said.

Dex

I nodded understanding. "Well if you get attacked a lot that can certainly delay any recon you would have planned."

"Yeah. So.. Allies?" King asked, reaching out his hand for a handshake.

Dex

I smiled and took his hand shaking it. "Sure. It's good to have each other's back in this world.."

King smiled, "Yes it is." He started writing down something on a piece of paper and handed it to Dex, "This is our radio code, if you use it then our soldiers will know that you're an ally. So, is there anything you're lacking? Food, troops, people, weapons?" He asked.

Dex

I nodded putting the paper in my pocket. "Not really. My "Soldiers" don't really eat but we still grow food just in case anyone stops by. Weapons we have plenty of"

A Vortex Soldier barged into the room, "Sir, there are people approaching the base! They appear to be hurt!"
"Are they soldiers?"
"It doesn't look like it, sir."
King stood up and looked at Dex, "Sorry to cut this short." He ran out with the soldier.

Dex

I turned around and then stood up following them.

King gasped as he saw the group of six people.  They were bloody, their clothes were tattered, and they looked exhausted.  King ran over to the group.  "Are you okay?" He asked.  He looked over to one of his soldiers, "Prepare a spot for six, and get the kitchen working on some food and water."
"T-thank you.." A black fox said.
"What happened?" King asked.
"W-we were l-living in a r-refuge center and these b-black things attacked u-us.. We w-were the only o-ones who got o-out.." A grey cat answered.
"Dark Beings.. I'm sorry.. We're gonna help you out, okay?" King said.  He motioned to his soldiers and they helped support the group of survivors, carrying them to the place where they could stay.

Dex

I watched as the group were led off. "Dark Beings huh? Will they never cease their evil attacks..?"

"You know what this means, don't you?" King asked Dex, "Sauron's territory is growing."

Dex

I nodded. "And if it keeps growing he'll eventually start attacking us.. We need to counter attack"

"You're right, we need to start working together to stop him."

Dex

"So is there anything your short on supply of?"

"No, we're good here.  More troops could never hurt, though."  King said.

(Quick question, what color chaos emeralds does everybody have?)

Dex

I nodded thinking.

(Xehanort has red, I guess I'll give Sauron the pink one)

"My troops and I were going to go on a search and rescue for civilians soon, did you and your troops want to join us?" King asked.

Dex

I thought about it and nodded. "Sure. I think I saw a small camp not far from here actually. There may be some people there."

"Great, we need all the people we can get if we're going to take on Sauron. Why don't you go prepare your troops, I'll check on the new civilians and prepare our troops." King said.

(Lol this will shock King )

Dex

"Well actually I can well.. "create" soldiers as it were."
